Vascular Surgery, which is an organization that seeks to advance excellence
and innovation in vascular health through education, advocacy, research
and public awareness. The organization was founded in 1947 and merged
with the American Association for Vascular Surgery in 2003.
The purpose of the society is to advance the art and science of
bariatric surgery by continued encouragement of its members to:
-Pursue
investigations in both the clinic and the laboratory.
-Interchange
ideas, information and experience pertaining to bariatric surgery.
-Promote
guidelines for ethical patient selection and care.
-Develop educational
programs for physicians, paramedical persons, and lay people.
-Promote
outcome studies and quality assurance
Adirondack Surgical Group
The mission of the American Academy of Physician Assistants is to promote quality, cost-effective, accessible health care, and to promote the professional and personal development of physician assistants. Physician assistants will be worldwide leaders vital to providing and improving the medical care of all people. Adirondack Surgical Group currently utilizes the services of two Physician Assistants in their practice. They are surgical first assistants in Vascular, General, and Urologic surgeries. They commonly work in the office, hospital, and clinics in surrounding communities as far away as Star Lake, NY.
